Note that they updated the firmware to version HS0D before reviewing
the device.
The review was generally positive, while pointing out that this is basically
the Lite-On SHM-165P6S with LightScribe support added on.
This is one of the first reviews to use the new LightScribe v1.2 media that
allows faster burning of
LightScribe images.
Negative points in the review worth noting include:
slower packet writing on DVD+/-RW compared to
the PX-750A and GSA-4167B (and even more slowness packet writing to DVD-RAM);
some quality problems writing to Verbatim's 2.4x DVD+R DL media.
While giving the drive full points for its extensive feature list,
the reviewer judged its performance "hit and miss".
