Matshita (Matsushita) / Panasonic UJDA710 DVD-ROM/CD-RW Combo Drive
The UJDA710 is a Matsushita (read all about the
Matsushita/Matshita (and Panasonic!) name confusion)
slim-line IDE drive that was used in both Sony and Dell laptops, and likely many others.
This is a CD-RW burner with a 2MB data buffer
that also supports reading DVD-ROM discs.
This was also a popular drive for people wanting to slam a CD-RW burner
into their PowerBook G3.
At least one person
successfully used this drive to upgrade their Gateway Solo 1100.
