Sony Announces DRU-530A/DRX-530UL: 8x DVD+R BurnerSony has announced a new pair of 8x speed DVD burners:
the internal (ATAPI) DRU-530A and the external (IEEE 1394/USB 2.0) DRX-530UL.
These drives continue the Sony trend of solving the standards war
by supporting both standards:
the drives support both "plus" (DVD+R, DVD+RW) and "minus" (DVD-R, DVD-RW) standards.
The drives offer modern disc burning speeds:
8x DVD+R, 4x DVD+RW and DVD-R, 2x DVD-RW, 40x CD-R, and
24x CD-RW.
The bundled software includes:
Sonic RecordNow, Sonic DLA, Sonic MyDVD, CyberLink PowerDVD, and
MUSICMATCH Jukebox.
