GEAR Software Brings CD/DVD UDF Support to Linux

GEAR PRO Linux 5.0 is the new release of GEAR Software's Linux tool for working with CD/DVD images. You can use it to edit, format, and build images for burning onto recordable CD and DVD discs.

GEAR PRO Linux 5.0 supports the following standard formats for optical disc volume images: UDF (Universal Disk Format), ISO 9660, ISO/UDF, Joliet, Rockridge. Recording standards supported include: DVD+RW, DVD-RW, DVD-RAM, CD-RW, DLT, and DAT. The software works with IDE, SCSI, and USB device interfaces.

GEAR PRO Linux 5.0 supports links, pipes, and device-special files. It provides a drag-and-drop interface, in addition to command-line control.
