Computer Associates Updates BrightStore ARCserve BackupBrightStore ARCserve Backup r11 is the new version
of Computer Associates' backup solution for business.
This version features a variety of speed improvements.
Multiple backup jobs can feed the same tape drive at
the same time, improving the overall throughput.
Support for disk-to-disk backup and disk-to-disk-to-tape
staging also improves backup speeds.
Besides speed improvements, this release offers a variety
of improvements in convenience and completeness.
You can now backup and restore Microsoft Exchange data
at the level of databases, mailboxes, or even individual messages.
A "Pre-Flight Check" feature helps administrator's catch
problems in scheduled backups before going home for the evening.
An included tutorial helps less-technical users learn how
to set up backups for their own computers.
