Overland Joins Tape-to-Disk Migration
Overland, a tape library vendor, has made another venture into
the disk-based backup appliance field with their new REO 4000.
The REO 4000 offers from 2 to 8 terrabyte capacities,
using SATA drives.
As you might expect from a company whose focus to date has mainly been tape libraries,
the REO 4000 also offers tape emulation,
so customers can easily transition from tape-based backup/recovery solutions.
You can read all about the REO 4000
on the company's website.
