Pocket PC as Backup Device
Geekzone New Zealand has published a review of
a review of Back Pocket for Pocket PC,
an application that lets you take a
"Snap Shot" of a desktop folder
and copy it to your Pocket PC.
The product offers an alternative approach to Active Sync.
The twist is that the review suggests using the Pocket PC
as a backup device for important files.
Each
"Snap Shot" is compressed, which offers
at least rudimentary protection from prying eyes,
and reduces the space penalty for keeping a backup copy
on the device.
