Toshiba Samsung Storage Technology Joins LightScribe Bandwagon

announces that the Toshiba Samsung Storage Joint Venture plans
a DVD burner that supports HP's new LightScribe technlogy.
Announced back in January,
this new option for labelling optical discs requires support
from both software, optical drive makers, and optical media makers.
Signing up another manufacturer is good news,
but cannot erase the disappointment that LightScribe has now been
delayed until at least 2005.
