Notes

1123Backup costs $20 for a single-user license. However, if you also want the module that supports backing up open files (only available for NT/2000/XP), the cost is $29.95.

2If there is a single defined MAPI profile on your computer, 123Backup can use that to send email notifications. Alternatively, you can configure 123Backup to use a particular SMTP server to transmit email notifications. Port numbers are configurable, and you can also specify a POP3 account, for servers that use the common "pop-before-smtp" authorization scheme.

3 123Backup offers the ability to backup open files, but you must first install a special kernel driver and reboot. This facility is only available for NT-based versions of Windows (Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000, and Windows XP). You cannot backup open files larger than 1MB until you purchase and register the software.
